The Autism Screener helps identify Autistic traits symptoms early, when they may be easier to treat. The screener includes a 30-minute consultation plus administer and feedback on two screening tests. A 10% reduction is offered if a full Autism package and testing is recommended. This is because the disorder has a number of possible symptoms, and they can easily be confused with those of other psychological or medical conditions, like depression, anxiety or trauma, sleep apnea or OCD.
Autism is a neuro-diverse condition caused by differences in the brain. Individuals with Autism often have problems with social communication and interaction, empathy and social understanding, restricted or repetitive behaviours and can become overwhelmed in bright or noisy environments. This can have an impact on studies, work, social life and relationships. Individuals with Autism also have several strengths that need to be capitalised.
The Autism screener includes a 30-minute online consultation with one of our experienced testing psychologists. Prior to the session you will be emailed two screening tests to fill out online and send back.
Your Psychologist will review the tests prior to your session to give you feedback on your results. In this session, recommendations will be made regards further testing or other support needs, depending on your results and background.
