Standard Court Reports

Psychology Melbourne provides expert psychological reports for civil, NDIS, administrative, or criminal proceedings.

These reports are prepared by experienced psychologists who provide objective, evidence-based insights to assist courts or tribunals in understanding psychological matters relevant to the legal proceedings.

What Makes an Expert Court Report?

An expert court report offers professional insights into an individual’s mental functioning at key points relevant to legal proceedings, such as before, during, or after an offense.

Our psychologists ensure reports are impartial and focused on providing reliable, evidence-based information. The purpose is to assist the court in decision-making, not to advocate any party involved.

Key Principles:

  • Reports are based on observed facts and validated evidence.
  • Opinions are professional and objective, avoiding reliance on unverified statements or unsupported conclusions.
  • If new information arises, a follow-up report may be required to update or clarify findings.
