Next step after the ADHD Screener (Level 1)
Completed the ADHD Screener?
If you’ve completed our Level 1 ADHD Screener and would like a more detailed understanding of your results, this is the next step.
This is the second step in our ADHD pathway, following the ADHD Screener and before a comprehensive ADHD assessment if required.
The Level 2 ADHD Insights Session is a 60-minute consultation designed to help adults better understand how ADHD traits may be impacting their daily life. It builds on your screening results to explore patterns in attention, focus, and behaviour across areas such as work, daily routines, and relationships.
Many adults reach this stage wanting a clearer understanding of their ADHD traits and how these are impacting their daily life. This session provides a structured and supportive way to explore these patterns, gain practical insight, and understand what next steps or supports may be most helpful.
What this session involves
This is a structured consultation with a registered psychologist. The focus is on understanding how your attention, organisation, and behavioural patterns show up in everyday situations such as work, study, and relationships.
During the session, your psychologist will:
- review your screening results (if completed)
- discuss your background and current concerns
- identify patterns in attention, focus, and interaction through clinical discussion
Areas explored may include attention, task follow-through, impulse control, and restlessness.
What you will receive
You will receive a clear and practical overview of your presentation, including key areas of strength and difficulty.
This may include:
- personalised strategies to support focus and organisation
- recommendations for therapy or supports
- guidance on workplace or study adjustments
You will also be provided with guidance on next steps and whether a full ADHD assessment may be appropriate.
Where appropriate, recommendations may include structured support options such as our ADHD Life Skills Program or Coaching Group.
How it works
Once booked, you will attend a 60-minute online consultation. Any relevant background information or screening results will be reviewed as part of the session, with feedback and recommendations provided during the consultation.
Important information
- This session does not provide a formal ADHD diagnosis
- It does not replace a formal diagnostic assessment or psychiatric evaluation
- Observations are based on clinical discussion and reported experiences
Is this right for you?
This step is often helpful if you:
- have completed the ADHD Screener and want more clarity
- want practical guidance before committing to a full assessment
Please Note; If you are seeking a formal diagnosis or documentation for external purposes, a comprehensive ADHD assessment may be more appropriate.
Please note: Psychologists do not prescribe medication.
