The Brain Function Assessment Package provides an individual with a realistic and practical assessment of their level of decline in memory, reasoning, or other thinking skills.
This package involves three clinical consultations with a qualified psychologist and the administration of the Wechsler Memory Scale (WMS). The WMS is a neuropsychological test designed to measure different brain functions in a person aged from 16 to 90 years of age. The administration of the WMS takes approximately one hour regardless of your age, education, or performance level.
The WMS can help assess early signs of dementia and Alzheimer's disease as well as other brain dysfunctions.
At your third consultation you will be provided with a written report detailing your results and recommendations for future management of your situation.
- 3 x 50 min clinical consultations
- Wechsler Memory Scale (WMS) administration
- WMS scoring and interpretation report
Please note: Psychologists do not prescribe medication.
